A Look Back at “Alienoid” (Part 1)

Synopsis of “Alienoid” (Part 1)

The movie tells a story about the opening of a time portal between the late Goryeo period, where Taoists fought for a legendary divine sword, and the year 2022, where aliens appear, leading to a series of fantastical events.

In 2022, Guard and Thunder (Kim Woo-bin), who live on Earth, manage alien prisoners imprisoned in human bodies. One day, a spaceship appears over Seoul, and Detective Moon Do-seok (So Ji-sub) witnesses this strange phenomenon.

In the late Goryeo period, 630 years ago, the bumbling Taoist Mooreuk (Ryu Jun-yeol) and a woman who “shoots lightning,” Lee Ahn (Kim Tae-ri), engage in a battle for the legendary divine sword.

As a spaceship rises and shines in a deep valley, the door to time opens between those chasing alien prisoners in 2022 and the Taoists vying for the divine sword in 1390, and everything begins to change.
