“Deep Sea Serpent” plunges viewers into a world of suspense and danger. Years ago, Professor Zhong Siyuan, along with his wife Gao Jie and disciple Shen Linchuan, embarked on a research expedition in the South Pacific, where they discovered an ancient giant egg. Their excitement was short-lived as a massive, unknown creature from the deep attacked, sinking their research vessel and leaving Shen Linchuan as the sole survivor. Driven by his obsession, Shen Linchuan continued his research into the mysterious creature.
Years later, fisherman Chen Yue is hired to transport photographer Zhong Ming and others to a remote island for a gathering. However, the island is teeming with strange creatures, and they soon find themselves under attack by a colossal serpent. Shen Linchuan’s sudden appearance on the island suggests a connection to his past research.
