Synopsis: A Photographer’s Obsession

One night, Leon intervenes when a group of men harass a Japanese woman in a subway station. The next day, he learns of her disappearance. Frustrated by the police’s indifference, Leon, fueled by a morbid curiosity, begins to investigate a series of disappearances on a particular subway line. His investigation leads him to a mysterious, well-dressed man who exudes an unsettling aura.
Unveiling the Cannibalistic Cult
Leon soon discovers that the man is a caretaker for a subterranean cannibalistic cult. To prevent these creatures from preying on the innocent, a secret agreement was made: a dedicated individual would supply them with human flesh, obtained by slaughtering unsuspecting passengers on the last train of the night.
When the mysterious man notices Leon, a confrontation ensues. Leon defeats him, but in a twisted turn of fate, he becomes the next caretaker, forever bound to the “Midnight Meat Train.”
