The sci-fi adventure film *No. 17* (also known as *Mickey 17*, English title: *Mickey 17*) is adapted from Edward Ashton’s science fiction novel *Mickey7*. Written and directed by Bong Joon-ho (*Parasite*, *Memories of Murder*, *Snowpiercer*, *The Host*, *Mother*, *Okja*), the film stars Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo, Anna Maria Wartolomei, and Holliday Grainger.

The story follows Mickey Barnes, a man who fails to find purpose on Earth and reluctantly joins an interstellar colonization mission, taking on the role of an "Expendable"—a disposable worker who is repeatedly killed and regenerated through cloning. His job is grueling, hazardous, and seemingly endless, making him a "cosmic labor mule." One day, Mickey No. 17 survives a deadly mission and returns home, only to find he’s already been replaced by Mickey No. 18. Thus begins a bizarre and darkly comedic sci-fi adventure about identity, survival, and exploitation.
