From Arcade to Action: The Premise of Rampage

Rampage is based on the classic arcade game that first hit the scene in 1986. The film follows the story of George, Lizzie, and Ralph, who were once ordinary individuals but transform into a giant gorilla, lizard, and wolf, respectively, due to a rogue experiment. These monstrous creatures wreak havoc on the city, and Johnson’s character is tasked with stopping them. Adding to the stakes, the monsters must not only fight off the military but also find a way to replenish their energy to avoid reverting to their human forms.

Johnson’s Reign Continues

Dwayne Johnson has become a household name in Hollywood, known for his roles in the Fast & Furious franchise and numerous other action blockbusters. His involvement in Rampage only adds to the anticipation surrounding the film.

Reuniting for Destruction

Rampage is directed by Brad Peyton, who previously collaborated with Johnson on San Andreas. In addition to Rampage, Johnson has a busy schedule ahead, with Jumanji soon to be released. He also has several other projects in the pipeline, including Shazam!, San Andreas 2, Black Adam, and Journey 4.

Rampage is currently slated for release in US theaters on April 20, 2018.
