The Bitter Reality of Post-Experiment Life

Many years had passed. All 623 experiments were located and, influenced by the little girl and Experiment 626 (Stitch), had reformed and found jobs fitting their unique abilities.

Jumba in the office

Phillip secured a position in the janitorial department. The pay was meager, but it was a steady government job. Jumba pursued a career in politics. Pleakley ventured into the food industry, partnering with another experiment to launch a chain restaurant, with plans for an IPO. Reuben, however, struggled, barely keeping his failing barbershop afloat. Only Sparky thrived, working for the municipal power bureau and on track for a promotion to deputy director.

Lilo, having spent her formative years as an intergalactic volunteer instead of focusing on academics, barely graduated from middle school. Unlike the other experiments, she lacked a specific skill and couldn’t find stable employment. Seeking help from the Galactic Federation, she discovered the female director had been replaced by someone unsympathetic to her situation. With no record of her service in the Federation archives, she was forced to take temporary jobs just to get by.

Jumba and Pleakley, after Pleakley’s gender reassignment surgery, moved out and bought a house on the east side of the island. Property values skyrocketed, comparable to those in major cities,. They were even planning for a second child. Nani and David lived a modest life, their house untouched by redevelopment and thus not appreciating significantly in value. They both worked average jobs, struggling to pay for Lilo’s insurance.

Stitch and Angel broke up, with Angel citing Stitch’s lack of financial stability as the reason. Stitch then dated a bodybuilder named Kicking Machine for a while, but that relationship also ended. He eventually found companionship with the obese and unattractive Experiment Pollution because Pollution had become the director of the city environmental bureau and owned two villas in Beijing.

The Downward Spiral

To alleviate Lilo’s financial burdens, Stitch took a job as a construction worker, where he injured his back. Leveraging Jumba social connections, he filed a lawsuit against the construction company, seeking compensation.

The new director of the Galactic Federation, learning that Lilo was a protégé of the previous director and privy to the details of the experiment program, saw her as a threat. To protect her position, she ordered Gantu to assassinate Lilo. Gantu, eager to prove his loyalty to the new director and avenge his strained relationship with the previous one, accepted the mission with zeal.

Lilo and Stithc

A fierce battle ensued, leaving Lilo critically injured and hospitalized. Unable to afford the exorbitant medical bills without insurance, Nani and David were forced to watch helplessly as Lilo passed away. Enraged and heartbroken, Stitch called upon the other experiments to launch an offensive against the galaxy. However, most of them, having established stable lives, refused, prioritizing their own well-being. Only Sparky, Kicking Machine, and Reuben, fiercely loyal to Stitch, agreed to help. They quit their jobs, left their loved ones, and prepared for one last stand for their brother.

Stitch and his friends

A Tragic End

In the final battle, Stitch and his allies were outnumbered and outmatched. They were chased to the edge of a waterfall. To avoid capture, the four of them held hands and leapt into the abyss. From that day forward, the world remained peaceful, and the story of the experiments was forgotten, hidden away in the annals of history.

Stitch sad

Is it too cruel and too realistic? No offense.
