Both and Sonic the Hedgehog managed to pleasantly surprise a few years ago. The first film avoided disaster in the form of the original appalling visage of the video game hedgehog, and after his facelift, it delivered solid family entertainment, which fans of classic video games also enjoyed thanks to a large dose of references. The second film upped the ante in this regard, adding even more blockbuster action and popular characters, and it was a success again. And it seems that this time the franchise creator got even more money to play with. And especially the final third of the new trailer suggests that he used the budget to the last dollar.
Shadow also joins forces with an old acquaintance, Dr. Robotnik, played by . Although the famous actor threatened to retire after the second film, he is not only returning to the family franchise, but he will also play a double role here - he will also play Robotnik’s father. The union of the trio of villains is perhaps a bit of an unnecessary revelation, which the creators could have saved until the film (the first trailer teased the cooperation of Sonic with Robotnik), but in this relaxing adventure, spoilers are probably not that important.

However, the new trailer promises a properly treated action ride, in which epic moments are not spared. But we must not forget that these few magnificent passages will be wrapped mainly in childish and simple humor, as evidenced by some of the lines and the very end of the trailer. So it is quite likely that it will still be a rather unobtrusive and slightly above-average one-off, which will again properly handle its gaming legacy. On the other hand, even that is not little in the field of family entertainment these days.
