Handlung
In der urkomischen Komödie "Falsch Beschuldigt" führt Ryan Harrison (gespielt von Leslie Nielsen), ein weltberühmter Geiger, ein Rockstar-Leben. Er hat Talent, Aussehen und Charme – was ihn zu einer Art Sexsymbol macht. Im Grunde seines Herzens ist Ryan jedoch kein schlechter Mensch; er will Lauren Goodhue (gespielt von Kelly LeBrock), die Frau seines Musikagenten, wirklich nicht betrügen. Eine Tragödie geschieht, als Mr. Goodhue, Laurens Ehemann, ermordet aufgefunden wird, und plötzlich befindet sich Ryan mitten in einer Mordermittlung. A classic spoof of *The Fugitive*. Back in 2003, during the SARS epidemic, I was cooped up at home everyday preparing for the Gaokao. I managed to squeeze in some time to watch it, and it absolutely cracked me up.

Despite achieving fame with nonsensical comedies like "The Naked Gun," Leslie Nielsen in this film, compared to himself a decade prior, appears visibly aged and moves with less agility, making many of the comedic bits feel forced. With a plot centered around a "on the run" parody, and even the protagonist's name – Ryan Harrison (Ryan from Jack Ryan's espionage thrillers) – being a blend of Harrison Ford elements, what stands out most is the "Usual Suspects" reference: the name-fabricated confession culminating in a shattering coffee cup. Two and a half stars.

Rewatching it, I'm still impressed by how clever Leslie Nielsen was. The movie spoofs so many films, especially that hospital scene where he's stuck to the wall – I was laughing my head off!
