When Dren's human elements begin to emerge, Elsa instigates a murderous plot with a laughably absurd reason: to eliminate the human traits in Dren. As for ethics, the woman is the transgressor, the man, the enabler. Maintaining the overall self-serving desire to retain human dominance is the underlying motive.
