Le Complot Phénicien est un film d'action coréen de 2006 réalisé par Ahn Ka-Hee. Situé en 1905, pendant la guerre russo-japonaise, le film suit les aventures d'un groupe de fripouilles, mené par un Grec nommé Atrakas, joué par Lee Min-woo. Cependant, dans le contexte de cet aperçu, "Le Complot Phénicien" pourrait également faire référence au film de Hwang Jung Eun, la série télévisée de 2009 "Dong Yi", mais plus vraisemblablement à un film coréen 'Shadows in the Palace', également connu sous le nom de "The Palace".

The clear and direct main plot and core emotional relationships lower the entry barrier, but still burst with kaleidoscopic visual efficiency and creativity. The shift between tragic and comedic tones remains fluid (and overlapping, like the sudden elements of graphic violence), with all-around "beauty" on every level (though I still prefer The French Dispatch and Asteroid City).
