That said, a much more fitting answer to the prompt is We're No Angels, starring Humphrey Bogart, with the movie plot being quite different though somewhat similar - 3 con artists escape from prison, and then a priest is sent to pick them and get them sent, they then team up so in turn, the priest is forced to get his hands messy, and the film is very much a comedy in nature. We're No Angels, however, isn't a romantic comedy at all as its plot and tone are vastly different from the prompt given.
