Trama
Ecco la trama: Convoglio è un film d'azione americano del 1978 diretto da Sam Peckinpah, con Kris Kristofferson nel ruolo di Martin "Rubber Duck" Penwald, un camionista di lungo raggio con la reputazione di essere uno dei migliori sulla strada. Rubber Duck e i suoi colleghi camionisti, tra cui Pig Pen (Burt Young), Widow Woman (Madge Sinclair) e Spider Mike (Franklyn Seales), usano le loro radio CB per rimanere in contatto e avvertirsi a vicenda di potenziali pericoli, come la presenza delle forze dell'ordine. Tuttavia, lo sceriffo Wallace (Ernest Borgnine) è una figura autoritaria astuta e spietata che si è stancata delle buffonate dei camionisti. Watched @movie center 20220731. This movie, <Convoy>, could be interpreted as a redneck far-right film, or conversely, even be seen as leaning to the left. The truck convoy parade - what an erotic spectacle!! Trucks, the very word evokes the working class, laboriously earning the means of reproduction. Simultaneously, the truck represents the most powerful production machine of the industrial revolution. As an extension of the driver's body, the truck, with the roar of its V8 engine, relentlessly produces forward momentum, breaking through roadblocks on the highway, charging towards the National Guard that hinders freedom.
