Trama
Ecco la trama del film: Grazie per aver fumato è una commedia satirica che racconta la storia di Nick Naylor, un abile spin doctor che lavora per l'industria del tabacco. Pur essendo membro di un gruppo chiamato Academy of Nicotine Research (ANR), la priorità principale di Nick è proteggere gli interessi dei suoi clienti e garantire che il fumo rimanga un'attività legale in America. La vita personale di Nick è complicata dal figlio dodicenne, Joey, che è determinato a crescere come un modello, nonostante la sua moralità discutibile. Quando una nuova campagna antifumo inizia a guadagnare terreno, Nick vede un'opportunità per promuovere i benefici del tabacco e reagire contro la lobby antifumo.
