Trama
Në qytetin e vogël të Herrington, Illinois, një ndjenjë shqetësimi përhapet në Herrington High School teksa nxënësit dhe mësuesit fillojnë të veprojnë çuditshëm. Në fillim, janë vetëm gjëra të vogla - interesi i papritur i një mësuesi për jetën personale të një nxënësi, ose ndryshimi i pashpjegueshëm në sjelljen e një nxënësi. Por me kalimin e ditëve, ngjarjet bëhen më të shpeshta dhe më të çuditshme. Nxënësi i ri Casey Connor (Elijah Wood) fillimisht nuk i kushton vëmendje ngjarjeve të çuditshme, por shpejt e gjen veten në qendër të gjithçkaje kur simpatia e tij, Marybeth Louise Hutchinson (Usher), fillon të sillet jashtë karakterit. Gjatë rrugës, ata zbulojnë sekrete rreth të kaluarës së njëri-tjetrit dhe formojnë lidhje të forta që do t'i ndihmojnë në luftën e tyre për mbijetesë. Fakulteti është një film horror fantastiko-shkencor që i bën homazh filmave klasikë B, duke ofruar gjithashtu shumë skena të frikshme dhe momente rrënqethëse. Me kastin e tij të ri dhe të talentuar, kthesat e zgjuara të komplotit dhe aludimet ndaj kulturës popullore, ky film sigurisht që do t'i gëzojë adhuruesit e zhanrit.

Bucky Bleichert: Belmont High 4.5 Laugh-out-loud funny! The pacing is fantastic, making it a truly engaging watch. It absolutely embodies that quintessential 90s vibe, and the cast is incredibly stylish and easy on the eyes. The subversive humor, especially with the faculty as the aliens and their absurd vulnerability to drugs, is absolute genius and truly sticks with you! Haha!

Carries shades of *Invasion of the Body Snatchers*. It's a fantastic genre blend, packed with ingenious little touches. Far from terrifying, it's incredibly entertaining and even surprisingly funny.

This movie is seriously awesome! Didn't realize who directed it until after watching. Apparently, there's even a game adaptation of it. So many familiar faces in this film, and it's crazy how many of them became leading actors 10 years later.

While the premise feels a bit dated and it's riddled with plot holes, damn, the pacing is fantastic! Gripping, with twists and turns galore, and an ending that just keeps escalating.

Almost brainwashed – even if an alien species truly took over, it might not be so bad. No pain, no fear, and people become serious and diligent. Maybe Earth would even become more civilized. (Lots of familiar faces).
