あらすじ

The epic scale of destruction is no match for the pervasive, self-satisfied hypocrisy and preachy tone that saturates the film. The ending, with a radiant sunset painting the smiling faces of the survivors, completely fails to convey that these people are alive thanks to the death of 6 billion others. Doesn't a sense of guilt engulf them like the cataclysmic flood? No, some of them are even caught up in passionate embraces.

Saw *2012* at the midnight premiere – left me with a headache. The protagonist's plot armor was on full blast from start to finish. I watched planes and limos dodge every conceivable projectile. I realized the highest-grossing "disaster for nerds" film of all time only left me with the impression of a large-scale CG "flying and driving" game. Sorry, I just can't appreciate disaster movies. All the projectile effects, the tired parent-child storyline, and the same old American "savior" heroism just blinded me.
