あらすじ
工学の名門インド工科大学に、ランチョー、ファルハン、ラージューという3人のクラスメートが入学する。ファルハンとラージューはラージューと共に、ランチョーとして知られるようになり、3人はクラスの誰とも似ていない存在となる。クラスメートの中には、恐れられ攻撃的な、大学の厳格で自己中心的な学部長「ウイルス」がいる。ウイルスは、新入生3人に目をつけ、配下の者に命じて、名門校で彼らが学ぶチャンスを妨害しようとする。 型破りで慣習にとらわれない3バカのリーダーであるランチョーは、その正体をP.K.といい、典型的なラジャスタン州の農村出身の少年である。賢いとは言い難いが、創造力に富み、一見するとばかげた、型破りな考えを受け入れる心の持ち主である。彼はすぐにファルハンとラージューという友人たちの友情の傘の下に入ることになる。ラージューは物静かで学業には向いていないタイプで、父親の稼ぎで生活している。一方、ファルハンは学業に非常に熱心であり、そのため、ランチョーの突飛なジョークに完全に振り回されることで、彼との関係に影響が出ている。 大学生活を通して、ランチョーの奇抜な行動は、多くの大学生や周囲の人々を楽しませる。彼はすぐに、大学は本を勉強するだけの場所であるという先入観を払拭する。感情がなく厳格な性格を持つウイルスは、ランチョー、ファルハン、ラージューの飽くなき勉学計画を嫉妬深い人物を通して知ると、彼らの考えを妨害したいと考える。ファルハンは大学で悲惨な状態に陥ることを脅かされ、彼の心配性の家族が緊張の原因となっている。 ウイルスは彼を見せしめにするために、憤慨しているように見せかけ、勉強することさえ阻止することで、突飛な3バカを大学から追い出そうと決意する。彼はすでに不安を抱えているラージューの弱みを悪用し始め、彼の知性を破壊しようとする。ランチョーの意図と非常に巧妙な戦略、知性に関わらず、ウイルスは評判を確立しようとする芽を摘み取ろうと最善を尽くす。 ランチョーはクラスメートとの絆をさらに深め、ウイルスの娘で美しく聡明なピアに恋心を抱く。彼女に対する愛情から彼は混乱する。彼が自分の問題を深く考えるようになると、ピアはランチョーの考えをすべて理解していることを表明し、最後に解決策を与える。彼らの好奇心は、やがて2人を、人生における綿密に計画された進路と思われた交差点に導く。

A film that satirizes social issues can be made so lighthearted, and a comedy can contain so many brilliant and insightful sayings. The plot is indeed too casual, and the exaggeration of the next moment always makes people laugh and cry. Despite feeling helpless, you still happily continue watching. The final scenery is something I am incredibly fond of! ★★★★★

If you chase excellence, success will follow you pants down. How can you live today if you're always worrying about tomorrow? The heart is fragile, so we must learn to soothe it. A chicken wouldn't know what's in store for the egg. Study to improve lives, not to enjoy a luxurious life. Be thankful for life. If a friend fails, you feel bad; if a friend succeeds, you feel even worse. All is well.

One of the best movies I've seen in recent months—it's about being true to yourself, and perhaps that's the ultimate success in life. Stop mocking Indians as "阿三"; they are catching up, whether in economics, technology, or Bollywood movies, which we used to think were only about dancing and singing. Highly praised! 6 out of 5 stars!
