The word "teamwork" has been interpreted countless times in sports-themed inspirational movies, but it's easier said than done. Despite having limited knowledge of American football, I found myself on the edge of my seat. Stone's control of the game's pacing is excellent, skillfully interweaving documentary-style footage and rapid editing with a rap soundtrack. He manages to add some flair to a cliché story, which is commendable. Diaz delivers a rare strong performance, although the character's transformation feels a bit sudden.

Oliver Stone is a force to be reckoned with! The sheer volume of shots is insane, the editing must have been a nightmare! Everything works so well, even someone who's never watched football gets caught up in the tension towards the end. Rewatching, it's still a perfect score. This movie is just incredible, not many could pull it off. Oliver Stone is a true master. And as much as I dislike Jamie Foxx, that end credits song is undeniably catchy.

The shaky, jarring cuts that break the axis, and the connection of athletic body movements with surrounding stadium elements in the same shot, all add to the information and enhance the thrill and immediacy of the game.
