あらすじ

He must have known Charles well. Why? Because he was allergic to him. --- A gag about a sneeze. --- The film is full of this kind of corny humor, dry and with a touch of British wit. There's suspense, pursuit, romance, and murder, but what stands out most is the comedy, which overshadows everything else and creates a lighthearted atmosphere. This is 60s commercial cinema at its finest, and it still holds up beautifully today.

The plot is silly and doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Hepburn's wardrobe is iconic, and Gary Grant's changing-and-showering scene is a must-see.

Audrey Hepburn plays her part as a charming, seemingly naive, and flirtatious widow.

Stanley Donen really knew how to use stars. He helped Grant and Hepburn show a different side which was unexpected and great. The plot is fun, even if the bad guys aren't too bright. I really enjoyed how it mixed Hitchcock-like suspense with funny dialogue. Audrey Hepburn's outfits were so beautiful; not to mention how beautiful Paris is to begin with!.
