Come Back, Little Sheba

あらすじ
Come Back, Little Sheba is a 1952 American drama film directed by Daniel Mann, based on the play of the same name by William Inge. The movie tells the story of the Meecham family, consisting of Doc Meecham, a retired and aging railroad engineer, and Lola Meecham, his wife who has a somewhat fragile mental and emotional state. The couple's marriage has been strained for years due to their vastly different personalities. While Doc is a practical, straightforward man who values order and discipline, Lola is a more emotional and nurturing individual who craves attention and affection. Their daughter, Marie, is a shy and introverted young woman who has difficulty expressing herself. The Meechams' life takes a turn when they decide to take in a new boarder, Doc's former football star nephew, Turkey Numchuk. However, their plans are soon derailed as a beautiful and vivacious young artist, Marie's friend, Marie's friend Marie's friend's name is not Turkey's but it is Marie's friend Jane "Marie's new friend" Maureen is later referred to as but a new young and pretty artist named Jane is introduced. This is soon followed by the arrival of a lovely young woman from Illinois named Marie's friend's name is later revealed to be a person named Jane, this is later revealed when Doc has the boarder move in and the arrival of Doc introduces a young woman in need to come and live with the family Maureen " Marie friend's Name" is a woman and not a name given to a man this boarder comes and lives with the Meecharms and the Meecharm's are surprised as the arrival of a young artist woman from the country from ILLinois Jane a new woman comes to be the boarder comes and becomes a new boarder named Jane.
