あらすじ
埃が落ち着くと、コンクリートのジャングルの中に仮設のコミュニティが形成され始める。混沌と破壊の中、異なる人生を歩んできた5人の人物が、それぞれの境遇によって出会う。元ギャングで現在は清掃員のジュノ、行方不明の兄を探す若い女性ヘミ、瓦礫と化した建物を設計した建築家ジェホ、荒廃した風景に爪痕を残そうとする反抗的なグラフィティアーティストのキジョン、そして過去の記憶に悩まされる地震後のベテラン、ドンス。 彼らはこの危険な新しい世界を生き抜く中で、それぞれが個人的な悪魔や葛藤に立ち向かわなければならない。かつて恐れられた執行者だったジュノは、生存と贖罪の狭間で細い線を歩む。ヘミは、過酷な現実にも直面しながら、兄を見つけるという決意が彼女を前進させる。ジェホは、かつての人生への幻滅から、都市だけでなく自分自身も再建しようと新たな目的意識に目覚める。 キジョンはというと、都市の廃墟をキャンバスにして、自分のアートに慰めを見出す。彼女の鮮やかな壁画は、この壊れた世界の最も暗い場所に光をもたらそうと努力する中で、希望と回復力の象徴となる。そして、過去の記憶に悩まされるドンスは、自分自身を許し、前進する方法を見つけなければならない。 これらの人々が出会い、共有された経験と苦労によって結ばれた、ありそうもないコミュニティを形成する。彼らは協力して再建し、古いものの灰から新しいものを創造する。瓦礫の中で、彼らは最も暗い時代でも常に希望があること、そして時には失うものではなく、見つけるものこそが本当に重要であることに気づく。

A swarm of "cockroaches" from the film, championing social Darwinism with fervor – the dark humor of it all is truly something.
