Originally, this was supposed to be a TV series for FOX, and it even got a formal series order (RIP to the TV version that never made it to air last year). But at the last minute, FOX decided to axe it before it even aired, so they hastily pieced together three episodes into a movie that really didn't show anything at all.... Amy Adams is gorgeous, but she completely lacks Kathryn's essence. And the male lead is just..... a pale imitation of Ryan Phillippe.
