No need to even surpass; Demon Slayer is indeed the second pillar of Jump, and third in overall popularity in Japan. My Hero Academia is hovering around 5th or 6th place, similar to Black Clover, and the plot is still in decline with no sign of improvement. Of course, the anime adaptation is a different story... My Hero Academia is lucky to have Bones handling it. Hopefully, ufotable will seize this opportunity with Demon Slayer.

Overall, it's undoubtedly a solid 5-star level production. However, the slow pacing in some episodes, excessive forced humor, the overdramatization of Zenitsu's weakness, and the questionable changes in Inosuke's debut episode significantly affected the viewing experience. It even decreased my expectations for Demon Slayer and almost made me drop the series. The excellent production of Episode 17 undoubtedly redeemed the anime in many ways and changed many people's perception of Zenitsu. The production quality (especially the animation) of that single episode is top-notch. And then Episode 19 achieved god-tier status as a standalone episode. I thought the highlight of the season would be Episode 17, but Episode 19 managed to combine god-like animation, perfectly timed music, excellent pacing...

Even though it's not finished airing yet, I can already sing its praises to the high heavens! Episode 19 single-handedly pushed it to a new climax. Unlike the later, more sluggish seasons of "My Hero Academia," "Demon Slayer" just keeps getting better and better. I love all four of the main characters. As for the villains, their backstories are revealed right as they're about to meet their end. This approach is incredibly clever. I love "Demon Slayer"! It's the shonen battle anime I most want to recommend from recent years, bar none.

Even without the visuals, I could predict the plot of the first episode. As soon as the siblings appeared, I knew they were destined to die, serving as a stepping stone for the protagonist's dramatic life transformation. This kind of trope has become utterly tiresome over the years.

A true slow-burn anime that steadily builds up, culminating in an explosive climax with episode 19. It's absolutely worth the wait, like the finale, this anime finally blossoms into its most brilliant form. Thank you, ufotable, thank you to the original author, and thank you to the voice actors for your outstanding performances. You are all truly excellent.

"This anime film masterfully explores the deep bond between siblings as Tanjiro Kamado embarks on a perilous journey to protect his sister Nezuko, a demon who still retains her humanity. With stunning animation and intense action sequences, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Sibling's Bond is an emotional rollercoaster that delves into the complexities of family, love, and sacrifice."
