あらすじ

Hu Ge's performance *did* show some tangible growth, I'll allow. But the absolute showstoppers, dear, those were unequivocally Mr. Du's.

Having seen this movie early, I have to say, if I could give it six stars just for Hu Ge, I totally would!

Honestly, this movie isn't terrible, but the chemistry between Hu Ge and Joey Yung is completely off! How were these actors chosen? And it takes real guts to introduce the so-called male lead almost 40 minutes into the film! The story is quite cliché, but the parallel editing of Red's heartbroken low and J's joyful romance is quite poignant. As a music-related film, the uninspired soundtrack is a definite drawback.

This blatant vanity project, meticulously crafted for one person, is utterly unnecessary fluff. It's essentially a disjointed compilation of personal music videos, interwoven with an absurdly idiotic plot that screams "low-budget." The conveniently targeted exposé of "behind-the-scenes" showbiz feels utterly contrived. The only redeeming quality is that hints of the director's intentions are still visible, though faint.
