I'm giving this a reluctant 3-star rating, purely out of loyalty to Ryoko Yonekura and Yuki Uchida, and my decade-long dedication to the series. As for the plot... it's genuinely hard to even comment on. And honestly, can they *please* stop casting unattractive men in lead roles? All those close-ups were just nauseating.

This film has all the makings of a thrilling mystery, but somehow manages to outdo itself with its absurdity. A wisecracking reporter and a brilliant scientist team up, only to make things more complicated by introducing a Moon Killer that feels like it stepped straight out of a campy '70s sci-fi flick. If you're into quirky, over-the-top suspense, this one delivers!
