あらすじ
キャンピーなSFコメディの傑作『フレッシュ・ゴードン』では、変人支配者である惑星ポルノの皇帝ワンが、その強大な「セックス光線」を無防備な地球に向けて放ち、地球の存在そのものを脅かす奇怪な銀河系の脅威が解き放たれる。その効果は即座に壊滅的で、全人類が抑えきれない性欲に駆り立てられてしまうのだ。 この混沌とした肉欲の渦中で、愛すべきお調子者でトラブルメーカーのフットボール選手フレッシュ・ゴードンが、不本意ながらも地球の救世主としての役割を担うことになる。その手に自身の運動能力と頼れる懐中電灯だけを携え、フレッシュは皇帝ワンに誘拐された美しい宇宙探検家デール・アーデンを救うための危険な旅に出発する。 フレッシュの冒険は、巨大な触手の怪物「ヴィーリー」や、魅力的な宇宙の妖女たちを含む、奇妙なクリーチャーたちと対峙する一連の馬鹿げた、そしてしばしば爆笑を誘う災難へと彼を導く。旅の途中、彼はデールと、ワンのセックス光線の効果を打ち消すことができる装置を持つ謎のゾルゴン博士と組むことになる。 このシュールな世界を航海するフレッシュは、自身の歪んだ欲望のために地球を巨大な遊び場に変えようと「セックス光線」を利用することに執念を燃やす、倒錯の皇帝ワンとも対決して進まなければならない。果たしてフレッシュは地球を救い秩序を取り戻すことができるのか、それとも皇帝ワンの堕落した欲望が勝利してしまうのか？
