あらすじ

Malkovich delivers a truly outstanding performance, making Eastwood seem a bit less impressive by comparison. The film takes a traditional subject and executes it with considerable vigor. The screenplay is mature, avoiding both clichés and unnecessary excitement. Overall, it's a very enjoyable watch.

"I may be your enemy, but friend, please take care of yourself." Without that final line from the recording, this film would have been mediocre. The assassin doesn't have a lot of screen time, but he's absolutely brilliant!

Eastwood's usual charisma is overshadowed by Malkovich's chilling performance, allowing the assassination plot to truly shine. However, the almost entirely useless romantic subplot and camaraderie with colleagues feel like unnecessary additions.
