I loathe the ugly, the stupid, those obsessed with just wanting to fuck. But what actually makes youth and growing up even remotely beautiful? Is it being pretty, smart, and abstinent? To me, that's still a disgusting process. It's so easy to do wrong without even realizing it, to effortlessly ruin your entire life, while rebuilding it is like climbing to the heavens. Fuck.

It's about doing everything that ignites the senses and discarding anything that holds you back – pure, unadulterated youth. The hunt for virginity is simply an extreme manifestation of this need to possess. AIDS is the price paid.

Can't believe it's been over a decade. Back then, I was watching it on VCD, had to do it sneakily. The murky picture quality only amplified the despair of the grim plot. The lengthy sex scenes surprisingly repulsed me, because life isn't beautiful.
