ムファサ：ライオン・キング
あらすじ
物語はアフリカのプライドランドで始まる。威厳のあるライオン、ムファサがプライドロックの上に座り、王国を見渡している。正当な王であるムファサは、公正で公平な統治者であり、民衆に愛されている。妻のサラビは、王位を継ぐ息子のシンバを誇りに思っている。しかし、ムファサの弟スカーは、兄に対して恨みを抱き、嫉妬に心を蝕まれている。 王国の遠い場所で、迷子になった孤独な子ライオン、ムファサが、間抜けだが愛らしいイボイノシシのプンバや、自由奔放なミーアキャットのティモンを含む、はぐれ者たちのグループに出会う。「ハクナ・マタタ（どうにかなるさ）」という陽気なデュオの言葉に、子ライオンは彼らが提供する気楽なライフスタイルに惹かれていく。 ムファサがティモンとプンバとの新しい生活に落ち着くと、二人は心配や責任のない生き方を教える。3人は太陽の下でくつろぎ、イモムシを食べ、お互いの時間を楽しんで過ごす。一方、シンバは父親の影の下で、王国における自分の居場所を見つけるのに苦労している。 シンバが成長の複雑さを経験するにつれて、責任とリーダーシップに関する父親の教えが彼の心に重くのしかかる。母親はいつか彼が王位を継ぐと安心させようとするが、スカーの策略がシンバの心に疑念を植え付ける。若き王子は、自分が本当に王になる運命なのかどうか疑問に思い始める。 今や古くからの友人であり、トリオの指導者でもある献身的なゾウのラフィキも加わったはぐれ者たちは、人生の真の目的を見つけるための旅に出る。ムファサの存在意義を問う危機は、家族を失ったことや、自分の運命を受け入れるための葛藤によって深刻化する。彼がこの未知の領域を進むにつれて、賭け金は高くなり、登場人物たちは野生の厳しい現実に立ち向かうことを余儀なくされる。 グループがプライドランドを旅するうちに、スカーがムファサを追い落として王位を簒奪しようとする邪悪な陰謀を発見する。狡猾な王は、ハイエナのライバル集団と同盟を結び、密かに他の動物たちをムファサに敵対させている。スカーは、ムファサが自分を追い落とそうとしているという偽の噂を巧妙に広め、民衆を愛された王に敵対させる。 ムファサは、迫り来る危険に気づいていないが、シンバが王国から孤立していることをますます心配している。息子の不安を感じたムファサは、彼が確かにプライドランドを率いるにふさわしいと安心させようとする。しかし、スカーはムファサを犯罪に陥れる機会を捉え、シンバの人生を永遠に変える悲劇的な出来事を仕組む。 ムファサの世界が崩壊すると、はぐれ者たちは破片を拾い集めることになる。父親の喪失に打ちひしがれ、自分の責任に圧倒されたシンバは、ついに自分の運命と祖先の遺産を受け入れる。新たな目的意識を持って、彼はプライドランドの正当な王としての地位を取り戻し始める。

Alright, folks, a solid two hours of the animal kingdom and not a single lion chows down on anything! My stomach was growling the whole time – seriously, how does the circle of life even work here? And the whole thing with feuding brothers, royal lineage, and power struggles? Nah-uh! Girl doesn't like me? Time to go full villain mode! This plot is totally familiar; it's basically "Zhou Sheng Ru Gu: The Musical," but with lions.

Okay, am I the only one who feels kind of bad for Scar? He saved Mufasa's life three times, and then just... randomly turned into a love-crazed villain? Seriously, no one else shipping this? I'm thinking, it's not the lionesses you're into, Scar, it's Mufasa! You wouldn't dare save your own mom, wouldn't dare save your crush, but you save Mufasa again and again, even taking a blade for him! OMG, who do you truly love?! He was the beloved little prince growing up, and then his parents died, nobody loved him anymore, all the new friends didn’t like him but suddenly went all ga-ga for Mufasa. Anyone would go mental over this!
Genesis
While the logic is a bit inconsistent – for example, Mufasa befriending herbivores raises the question of what he eats. Does he prey on animals who can't speak or aren't close to him? If so, does that make them inferior? 🙂↔️ Nevertheless, Disney films usually maintain a good pace, and even at their worst, they're never truly boring. Besides, there's just something undeniably帅(handsome/cool) about the lions. Mufasa is a warm-hearted character, but he and Taka have a great bromance.
