あらすじ

Knowing all along about Captain Chou Yung-ling's dealings with pirates, Sergeant Dragon Ma volunteers to rescue the hostages. He reorganizes the Marine Police, devising "Project A" – a scheme to eliminate the pirates once and for all, working in tandem with his superior, Hong Tin-tsu (Yuen Biao), and his trusted brother, Inspector Chi卓一飞 (Sammo Hung).

How many of us spent our childhoods huddled around a TV with our best buddies, watching pirated VCDs of these films? Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, and Sammo Hung – the perfectly balanced and incredibly talented trio. That was the golden age of Hong Kong cinema. Each film, though rough around the edges, was bursting with vitality and energy. Back then, Hong Kong movies hadn't yet succumbed to the cliché and overused slapstick that would later plague them. It was the most natural, exuberant, and vibrant childhood of cinematic art. Now? It's grown into a mature, money-making machine, where even the joy feels cheap and artificial.
