あらすじ

One of Van Damme's two directorial efforts, "The Quest" is unremarkable. The first thirty minutes feel like they're setting up a jungle adventure, but once the story enters the ancient city for the fighting tournament, it basically retreads the same ground as "Bloodsport" and "Tekken", with a similar arena setup. The ancient city's setting and the adventure elements are largely wasted. Fortunately, the pacing and fight choreography are decent, and the presence of the then nearly sixty-year-old Roger Moore (of James Bond fame) adds a touch of class.
