あらすじ
政情不安なテヘランを舞台に、『聖なるイチジクの種』は、社会不安と汚職によって引き裂かれた都市で、厳格で尊敬されている捜査判事イマンを中心に展開する。表面的には、イマンは正義への情熱のみに突き動かされている、揺るぎない信念の持ち主のように見える。しかし、その仮面の下には、彼の勤勉な外面が隠そうとしている、緊張、不安、恐怖の複雑な網が潜んでいる。 不安が都市を襲う中、イマンは嵐の目の中に突き落とされ、あらゆる側面で被害妄想の波に襲われる。かつて秩序正しかった彼の世界は急速にコントロールを失い、かつて彼を定義していた確実性はゆっくりと崩れ始めている。この混乱の中で、彼は信頼していた銃が消えていることに気づき、不安に駆られ、不信と疑惑の危険な道へと転落する。 イマンの頭脳は、鋭く、検出と調査のために研ぎ澄まされており、何よりも一つの疑問に集中している。この凶悪な行為の責任者は、自分の家族以外にいるのだろうか？怒り、自己憐憫、そして自身の安全への懸念が混ざり合った結果、イマンは失われた銃の背後にある真実を明らかにするために設計された、一連の厳格な措置を強引に構築する。これらの対策は、家族の輪の中の潜在的な弱点の源を容赦なく取り締まることを目的としているが、必然的に、親密な家族関係の構造そのものを破壊し始める。 イマンの主要な調査対象は、彼の家族、つまり妻と3人の娘である。かつて豊かだった彼らの家族生活は、彼が魔女狩りに極めて近い熱意で彼らの集合的な無実を解剖するにつれて、崩壊し始める。これらのもろい雰囲気の中で、古い敵意と非難が長く隠されてきたものが表面化し、かつて彼らの存在によって喚起された共同体としての統一感を打ち砕く。 感情のもつれた網の中心にあるのは、イマンの葛藤する妻である。愛情深いパートナーとしての義務と、夫の容赦ない視線から家族を守るための衝動との間で板挟みになり、彼女はイマンの疑念によって引き起こされた手に負えない状況に陥る。答えを求める彼の破壊的な探求の泥沼にはまり込んだ人物として、彼女は最も身近で大切な人を特定しようとする決意の強い敵に対処しながら、自分自身に忠実であろうと努めている。 もう一つの平行したストーリーでは、イマンの緊迫した家庭の宇宙を超えた世界がゆっくりと息を吹き込んでいる。革命は本格化しつつあり、イランの魂そのものが混乱によって引き裂かれている。自由と人権のための戦いは、昨日は侵入不可能に思えた定着した規範と時代遅れの伝統に挑戦する、緊急の議論の対象となっている。 改革を求める国民の叫びと、イマンの内向きの必死の安心を求める闘いとの間には、興味深い対称性が生まれている。都市の抗議運動の騒音が、国の居間に流れるテレビ画面に映し出されるにつれて、家族生活の厳格なルーチン - つい最近まで、まだ信頼の源泉であった - はますますアノミー的になり、危険なほど緊迫している。 しかし、イマンの被害妄想の世界の終わることのない嵐の中で、救済の兆しに向かって努力を重ねる中、『聖なるイチジクの種』は、イランの苦悩に満ちた過去への洞察力のある調査となり、家族の不和、真実への絶望、公共秩序の崩壊、そしておそらく人がその制度の中心にある矛盾に立ち向かう能力のテーマを探求している。

I just fundamentally disliked the condescending and patronizing attitude of the white audience, the mid-film applause, and the performative laughter throughout. These actions weren't born out of respect for Iranian women, but rather in reveling in the perceived admiration of women's rights in Western societies from people in a third-world country. Can white people just stop being so narcissistic? Therefore, I believe that adhering to a realistic approach when handling realistic subject matter is crucial (Bazin argued for using realism to enhance audience participation, not manipulation). Deafening. In the face of this film, all horror, thriller, and violent movies become so heartwarming. It points not only to the blatant evil under the sunlight, but also to the most unfathomable evil in the subtle depths of everyone's heart. Different from the traditional revenge narrative, we can clearly see how the three mother and daughters get rid of the mindset of violence and overthrow authority by its backfire - using false confessions to prove the failure of interrogation and the incompetence of the interrogator; proclaiming the hypocrisy of the thugs' moral justice and the betrayal of promises with songs echoing through the darkness; deviating from the target with a gunshot causing violence to kill the perpetrator like a boomerang, and pointing to what they believe in...
