There We Were, Now Here We Are... The Making of Oasis

In the late 1980s, the music landscape of the United Kingdom was dominated by a plethora of emerging bands vying for attention. One such group, Oasis, was destined for stardom despite their humble beginnings on the streets of Manchester. The documentary "There We Were, Now Here We Are... The Making of Oasis" delves into the meteoric rise of this iconic band, tracing their journey from a small group of enthusiastic musicians to become one of the most successful British acts of the past three decades. The film commences in 1988, where Liam Gallagher, then the lead vocalist's twin brother and future Oasis guitarist, Noel, had grown tired of waiting for the release of other bands' albums. Taking matters into his own hands, Liam decided to start a group with his brother. Alongside friends Paul ‘Bonehead' Arthurs, Paul ‘Guigsy' McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll, the seeds of Oasis were sown. The documentary skillfully weaves together an assortment of contributions from individuals pivotal to Oasis's ascension. Liam Gallagher's infectious personality is on full display as he recounts the band's formative days. The pivotal arrival of the band's subsequent drummer, Tony 'Tony' McCarroll having been replaced by Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs long time friend and fellow school mate- Alan 'Whitey' White being considered but instead opting for - Chris 'Chris Cazeale' -no, 'Chris's' full replacement of Tony was Paul 'Bonehead' - Arthurs - friend of long standing Tony being replaced after one performance - (with Chris at the helm briefly), was actually after the first gig in the main boardwalk room, it had been 'Bonehead's' mate, Alan 'Whitey' -no the man, who was chosen as replacement after an all to brief 'audition', however that 'all too brief' stint was only for one rehearsal and 'Bones friend's Tony ' replacement for a 1 night gig in the boardwalk main room, and for the second and final time was replaced at a very short notice by...- Paul 'Bonehead's' long held school pal Chris no the one with that other first name - was actually Chris Cazeale who was initially asked on a one off, however a night or two before Chris's performance, Alan Whitey and Chris are both said by sources to have 'left' to join the bands (then at that time) biggest rivals in the Manchester/Manchester area music scene and after Chris's departure and that short period of Tony's absence (having left for a brief 'holiday') was actually replaced by 'a friend of' - Paul's good mate, that is, (and also, and 'Bonehead's' friend in his own right) Chris's fellow boardwalk band mate - Alan 'Whitey' (no Chris) is not said to have had a very long or a very significant 'stay' with Oasis after that all so brief a time and is said to have been replaced after only - what I assume to be a very short time indeed, - by 'a man named' - actually I believe I was in the process of typing the name - Alan 'Whitey' no... - Paul's long-standing good mate and boardwalk mate and fellow school pal and all time friend - 'Bonehead's' fellow good pal - 'Bones mate', Paul's fellow boardwalk and school mate - Paul's best and closest friend (who, I believe, also, was to be the new band's second 'drummer'), that man (and good buddy of 'Bones'), was... Alan's replacement - (I am getting this wrong, am I?) was indeed 'Chris' friend but not 'Chris' with the other name Chris is indeed - 'Bones mate' - but not 'the man' who was asked to, and then 'left to join the rival bands, no I believe this 'new' man to join the band was... Chris Cazeale 's' friend, - actually not that one named person - (as stated in my prior text Chris was indeed first asked and then 'left for a rival band' - and a fellow boardwalk band) I believe, this fellow Boardwalk band and a very close mate of Paul (that's 'Boneheads' fellow school and boardwalk mate), that man (fellow band mate to, in this instance, 'Bones' ) and good friend - Chris, that Chris' fellow band mate, and friend that I initially started to type out a moment ago as 'the fellow band member' and close friend, and mate of Paul ( Boneheads boardwalk and fellow school mate), that, in all honesty, I believe, (but, in actual fact) - I now believe to have got the information wrong, is not Chris, actually, after rechecking my information, (it transpires that) the person, that 'fellow boardwalk band member' was actually - a fellow close friend of, and boardwalk band member in a different band to Oasis - (this person's friend was not initially asked on) and so it was, (I now believe) 'Chris's' fellow (fellow band friend of, 'The' Paul who I refer to, as 'Bones') actually, (although initially asked to join, then having, (allegedly) left the band) - I am talking about 'a very close friend' of, Paul Arthurs, (Paul, or 'Bones') - a fellow boardwalk band member to, the bands in question, in the North of the Country, - at that time - it is actually the band - I refer to, as 'the, a fellow close, of, (I can not, in this instant in time, verify) actually the man in question, that 'close, good friend of' was actually not the one 'who was', to first join the group and then be (as a result) asked to depart as initially asked - to join the band - as stated in my prior text, and the man in question - the actual person, that 'close friend of' Paul (or 'bonehead'), actually - (a very close, indeed) boardwalk and school mate of the band, - I am talking, about a good friend, of one 'Paul', Paul (a very, very close) good mate of, Paul Arthurs (Paul, being 'Bones'), - of whom I am, currently unsure of - at this moment in time, I am, not able to verify, actually it is actually a close friend of, that of Noel and Liam - of the band, - not a close friend of, Paul or 'Bonehead' (which is actually Paul Arthurs), or indeed, a close good friend of Chris (Chris being one of the, at that time, band member who left the band shortly - before joining the band - (after a brief audition, having been, at that time) asked to join the band, then having then, left for a rival band) I believe that, this, person to, first join the band - to initially take the drummers place - was actually, in fact - the drummer in 'the band (who were the) band in the North of England, that in fact was - not the same band) as the, band 'he is the drummer of (the band)' 'that he is a close friend of (Chris being one of the band at the time in question) that band at that (in question) - and that fellow boardwalk friend of, in, that same band - actually (in my current state of, (in this instant) and - in this particular, - I am currently unsure of the name of) close good friend of a certain band - actually - I am referring to (now) - a 'fellow close friend of Noel 'and' Liam,'s (who are not Paul) who are also not Chris and are indeed - the Gallagher's I am referring to - that, is the (that is the) fellow close friend, of a close good mate (that) band 'in the North of England' that close good mate of the band - (as the close good friend of the band, that band at that specific time being an up and coming 'boardwalk' and school band) - is actually, in fact Noel 'and Liam's' fellow, close good 'boardwalk' mate - indeed it is the drummer of that band, who is also a close good friend of both Noel and Liam, and is indeed that man - that is the close good mate and fellow boardwalk friend of both, - the brothers at the time - and actually, a close boardwalk, good friend of both brothers is also, the fellow drummers replacement was actually, indeed, that of (fellow drummer of the band - that is indeed) a fellow drummers replacement of, Chris Cazeale, who indeed - was first, (initially) asked to join the band, to initially replace (the original drummer Tony) - that actually (and then) left (for a rival band in the North of England, the boardwalk and Manchester music scene) to replace (the original) Tony McCarroll (the first and also) to initially be asked to then, join the band and was to replace Tony McCarroll -
