Woody Allen seems to enjoy dissecting women. Three women: Vicky is black, introverted, and pragmatic; Cristina is white, candid and free-spirited; Maria Elena is red, a searing genius, intensely fervent. Vicky is a cube, occasionally rolling but ultimately landing stably; Cristina is a sphere, sometimes touching down but never staying put; Maria Elena is a flickering flame. If I were to say that all three of them are you, don't be surprised. After all, women are inherently complex creatures, and Woody has simply peeled them open for examination.
