Alien: Romulus

In the distant reaches of the cosmos, the space station known as New Horizon stood as a haunting testament to the dangers that lurked in the unknown expanse of space. Once a thriving hub of humanity's expansion into the stars, it had now been reduced to a scavenger's paradise, a tomb of lost dreams and abandoned hope. It was here that Jack, a young and ambitious member of a salvage crew, found himself alongside his crewmates, scrounging for scraps and spare parts in the derelict vessel's decaying corridors. As they delved deeper into the station's labyrinthine passages, their equipment-dulled senses began to pick up on an eerie, unsettling presence. At first, it was dismissed as the product of their own overactive imaginations, but the crew's fatigue and desperation soon got the better of them. They encountered strange noises, flickering lights, and a creeping sense of dread that seemed to seep into every molecule of the ship's atmosphere. It was then that they stumbled upon the first sign of the alien's presence: a disembodied face, frozen in a macabre grimace, floating amidst the thick debris of the station's cargo bays. The face, seemingly part of a gruesome collection of abandoned victims, still retained some semblance of dignity, even in death. Yet, it was a stark reminder that they were not alone in this forsaken place. It soon became clear that the alien, a monstrous creature known as Leviathan, had claimed the New Horizon as its own lair. Its existence had begun to warp the very fabric of the station, infecting its air with an otherworldly pheromone that induced a gruesome, mind-numbing numbness in any living being who breathed it in. The crew's only hope of survival lay in escaping the station with any remaining life support systems intact, but every option led deeper into the jaws of the Leviathan. Ariana, the chief engineer, proved to be the crew's emotional anchor, initially braving her fear to stand against the looming threat of the monster. Jack began to form a tentative bond with her, the thread of a possible romance woven between them as they pressed on through this hellish environment. However, this fragile alliance was soon upended by a series of nightmares that had begun to surface within Jack, fuelled by hints of the alien's intelligence and relentless pursuit. Upon getting word of a potential route to safety from a broadcast signal transmitted by an unknown source, the crew huddled together for a rapid debate on what course of action to take. Jack made a fateful decision, promising to personally confront the deadly threat in an ill-fated rebellion. Jack became increasingly gripped with vengeance as his guilt and madness fueled his actions. Madness gave way as the truth revealed that the origin of the alien Leviahtan was the planet ROMULUS. The crew realized that Leviathan survived but never intended their complete extinction but was able to evolve and mature into its most intelligent adult form, the single egg hatched could hatch Leviathans, capable of breaking evolution restrictions and becoming numerous alien hatchlings threatening Earth, no escape and end to suffering was in sight. In their quest for survival and by facing their deepest fear, the crew left lasting impressions on those destined to clear the poisonous remnants from Romulus.
