#Escape Plan 2: Hades I could believe this movie isn't even part of the same series as the first "Escape Plan." The CGI is laughably cheap, the plot is atrocious, and Huang Xiaoming gets countless close-ups of him trying to look cool. The director is clearly a specialist in making terrible films. It's a shame that this series, like "Death Race," started off strong but devolved into niche, self-indulgent garbage. Also, the fact that this film was released on DVD abroad but in theaters in China, and that they've already filmed the third installment before the second one even premiered, with Huang Xiaoming and Zhang Jin prominently featured, makes it obvious this is a film specifically made for the Chinese market. Paying to watch this is just wasting your money and admitting you have no taste!
