It's even rarer to realistically depict the flawed family and friends and the ups and downs they experience while coming to terms with his talent. The young actor gives a wonderfully vibrant performance, and even the father and brother, who today might be seen as embodying "dad-bro" stereotypes, have their endearing qualities.
