A martial arts comedy with a delightfully absurd touch. Stick with it through the opening – don't bail! It really finds its groove after the first 20 minutes, becoming quite enjoyable.

Ando is so cool, and those abs are just…wow! Zhang Yuqi is incredibly alluring, every glance and movement is pure temptation. The sets are lavish, and the story is a wild ride through time. It's a Wuxia film wrapped in countless layers of mystery and identity.

Greed, anger, and delusion (the order the film presents) –>> anger, greed and delusion (the true chronological order). No one escapes these three in life. Unfortunately, I must admit I didn't see the cyclical structure the film was aiming for. The "delusion" segment was too silly, deducting a star for that. Ando Masanobu's segment was genuinely good; a straightforward approach would have worked excellently. It's a shame it had to be so fragmented, flashy, and floaty, like a commercial. Such a waste of potential.

I'm holding back a full five stars only because I feel the director's potential wasn't entirely unleashed, likely due to limitations. I'm eagerly anticipating his next film!
