I heard the subtitles for "The NeverEnding Story" were hilarious, which piqued my interest. However, after watching it, I was a bit disappointed. While the subtitles conveyed the meaning accurately, everyone seemed to speak with the same comedic tone, even characters for whom it wasn't suitable. It became tiring, annoying, and a bit of a personality split to watch. I ended up splitting the movie into three or four sessions just to finish it, and the subtitles are largely to blame. The movie itself isn't as bad as some make it out to be. After all, it's a film for children made in 1984. Movies back then were quite innocent, certainly not like the ones we have now, where kids barely out of diapers are already focused on romance. It's definitely not a film for today's...
