Plot
Saat kapal berlayar melalui perairan berbahaya, perjalanan Mia menjadi perjalanan ketahanan dan tekad saat ia bergulat dengan kenyataan pahit dari tanah yang dilanda perang. Pelariannya adalah upaya putus asa untuk menemukan kedamaian dalam masa depan yang tidak pasti. Badai yang merusak kapal berfungsi sebagai metafora untuk kekacauan yang terjadi di dalam diri Mia, saat tubuhnya bersiap untuk melahirkan kehidupan baru di tengah kekacauan. Saat kontainer terhuyung-huyung hebat dengan setiap deburan ombak, naluri primordial Mia mengambil alih, dan dia harus menghadapi tugas berat melahirkan anaknya dalam keadaan yang paling tidak mungkin. Tangisan bayi yang baru lahir bergema melalui ruang gelap dan sempit, saat naluri keibuan Mia muncul, membina ikatan yang tak terpatahkan antara dia dan manusia kecil itu. Awak kapal, tidak menyadari drama yang terjadi di bawah dek, melanjutkan rutinitas mereka tanpa mengetahui peristiwa yang mengubah hidup yang telah terjadi. Palka kargo menyimpan rahasianya sendiri, karena dinding logam kontainer membatasi Mia dan anaknya di dunia kecil dan terpencil tempat kelangsungan hidup tergantung pada keseimbangan yang genting. Seiring berjalannya hari, Mia berjuang untuk mempertahankan rasa normal di tengah lingkungan yang sunyi. Pikirannya kembali ke kehidupan yang ditinggalkannya, dipenuhi dengan ketidakpastian dan keraguan tentang apa yang ada di depan. Tangisan bayi berfungsi sebagai pengingat terus-menerus akan realitas barunya, mengarahkan fokusnya pada saat ini. Di dunia terpencil ini, di mana suara perang memudar ke kejauhan, Mia harus menghadapi pertanyaan pamungkas: Apa artinya hidup? Saat dia menavigasi perairan berbahaya menjadi seorang ibu dan sifat tak terduga dari takdir, dia perlahan mulai membangun kembali tujuan hidupnya. Kelahiran kehidupan baru berfungsi sebagai suar harapan, menerangi jalan ke depan melalui kegelapan. Dalam penggambaran ketahanan manusia yang mengerikan ini, perjalanan Mia menjadi bukti semangat pantang menyerah yang mendefinisikan kemanusiaan dalam menghadapi kesulitan. One of my favorite extreme survival movies. Despite the various absurdities in the plot, I still love it. The female lead is absolutely badass! During the childbirth scene, I thought I was going to lose it, and then when she ate the umbilical cord, I thought I was definitely going to lose it. Later, when she sewed up her thigh, I almost went crazy... If she had died at the end, the person typing this would be a lunatic right now.

7/10. This movie isn't just torturing the main character; it's torturing us, the audience! 🤣 The actress really sacrificed a lot for this role 👍. I've never seen the spectacle of giving birth completely naked in seawater before 🤣. Watching her eat the umbilical cord raw and suture her own wounds really made me nauseous…🤣

Childbirth is inherently harmful. Bringing a child into this rotten world (especially after her first daughter was murdered) is an act of insanity and lovelessness, driven purely by selfishness – particularly the selfishness of the man who impregnated her. There are some good parts, like the animals saving her and the protagonist's self-rescue, that phone call from the man, and the moment she saves herself. Why does that Spanish song have an Indian flavor? This is, in some ways, more interesting than aspects of "Life of Pi." The actress delivers a good performance. Even as a child watching birth scenes, I never understood the overwhelmed emotion after giving birth. (includes people around.)only terrifying to me and it still does now.
