Ariana Grande to Star in NBC’s “Hairspray” Musical!
Pop sensation Ariana Grande, fresh off the heels of her wildly successful album “Dangerous Woman,” has announced that she will be joining the cast of NBC’s upcoming musical production of “Hairspray.” The musical is based on the 2007 film adaptation.
Grande will be taking on the role of Penny Pingleton. The singer and actress shared her excitement on Twitter, stating that she is “sooooo excited to join this cast,” adding, “as you all know, musical theatre is in my heart foreverrrrr.”
