Watchable. As a movie adapted from Indian mythology, it's worth watching from the perspective of understanding Indian traditional culture. At the same time, the film makes extensive use of slow-motion and posturing to create atmosphere and render emotions, which is relatively successful. The film features a lot of singing, but no dancing. In terms of story and characters, there are similar plot elements from "The Lord of the Rings," "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," and "The Homeric Epics." There are monkeys reminiscent of "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," a raccoon-like character similar to those in "Guardians of the Galaxy," and monsters resembling those in "Warcraft" and "The Lord of the Rings." 123 people on Douban have marked it as seen, with 104 ratings as of September 23, 2023.
