あらすじ
チャイルド・プレイ3のあらすじは以下の通りです。 前作から8年が経過。以前チャッキーの持ち主だった少年アンディ・バークレイは、反抗的なティーンエイジャーに成長し、軍学校に通っています。しかし、彼の平穏は長くは続きません。かつての持ち主に復讐を誓うチャッキーが再び姿を現したのです。 今回チャッキーは、陸軍のアクションフィギュアの姿となり、それを利用してアンディの新しい環境に潜入します。アンディが軍学校での生活に慣れようと苦闘する中、チャッキーが戻ってきて、混乱を引き起こそうとしていることを示唆する、一連の奇妙で恐ろしい出来事を体験し始めます。 かつての敵同士が心理的な猫とネズミごっこを繰り広げる中、アンディは自身の過去の暗い秘密と、チャッキーとの関係の本質に立ち向かわなければなりません。一方、アンディの新しい友人であるブレットを含む軍の士官候補生たちは、自分たちの周りで繰り広げられる一見超自然的な出来事の背後にある真実を解き明かそうとする中で、騒乱に巻き込まれていきます。 緊張が高まり、賭け金が上がっていくにつれて、アンディは自分が知らず知らずのうちにチャッキーを自分の人生に連れ戻してしまったという現実に直面せざるを得なくなります。アンディは友人たちの助けを借りて、その知恵と機知を駆使して殺人人形を出し抜き、その恐怖の支配に終止符を打たなければなりません。 結局、アンディは自分の恐怖に立ち向かい、自分の運命をコントロールするのは自分次第となりますが、チャッキーが誰一人として無傷では済まないほどの悪の奔流を解き放つまではそうはいきません。

Definitely the weakest installment in the Child's Play franchise. The kid is all grown up and less interesting. The more Chucky's demonic face shows (especially compared to the first two films), the less effective he becomes, and his strength seems to diminish – he's even getting punked by a bunch of kids. Though, I gotta admit, this one has a certain comedic charm.
