To be honest, I found the lead actor's performance a bit contrived. However, the chubby best friend was quite good. (And his older brother is really handsome! Devon Bostick, another Canadian actor – definitely one to watch.) The story isn't particularly fresh or funny, and it gets progressively worse as it goes on. After watching this movie, I'm starting to have doubts about Chloe Moretz, perhaps because she had such a small role.
