あらすじ

The soundtrack is fantastic; the appearance of "Moon River" is perfectly timed, hitting the tear ducts just right. However, this film should have been better, but it unfortunately falls short due to the disordered pacing, fractured editing, and Orlando Bloom's inability to draw the audience in... But who wouldn't fall for such a romantic and sweet girl in a red hat? ★★★☆

Elizabethtown is a movie that can help you find your own warm and peaceful place. I especially love the mom's speech in the film – life is short, why not make it a little more interesting? And if a quirky and whimsical girl gave me a photo album like that, I'd definitely fall for her too.

The road trip portion works well enough as a travelogue. The film's editing is atrocious, Orlando Bloom's performance lacks any focus, and the overall story suffers from a severe lack of credibility. 2.5 stars.

This movie is like a dog, really. You can’t stop staring at it because it’s so weird, yet you can’t help but feel sorry for it. Drew’s life is a mess, and his shoe company is basically the cute little poodle he’s trying to train while everything around him goes to crap. It’s a chaotic ride that’s hard not to laugh at, even if you want to scream sometimes.
