Jason Statham is undeniably magnetic in this film. His signature bald head, coupled with that rugged beard, and his powerfully agile physique are captivating. But it's his unwavering, decisive gaze – sharp as a predator's when locking onto its prey – that truly seals the deal. Of course, Clive Owen, with his neat mustache and chillingly blue eyes, is equally dashing. Watching these two style icons face-off is a major draw, though the movie does get bogged down in unnecessary length and details.

What should have been a straightforward and entertaining action blockbuster, the director strangely tries to mold into something akin to "Munich." The result: action sequences take a backseat, and more importantly, the shallow story lacks the depth to warrant any grand aspirations. It falls short on both fronts. However, to its credit, the film retains the spirit of old-school, hard-boiled action flicks and refreshingly avoids jumping on the bandwagon of forced bromance or unnecessary gimmicks.
