It's actually a bit better than *Madame Web* or *Morbius*. The action sequences and the gore are the highlights, along with the reveal of Aaron's identity. Beyond that, there's not much else to it. The plot is clichéd and uninteresting, the villains are basically just there to fill space, and the pacing is a bit slow.

The script's roughness and arbitrary settings are still unavoidable, especially the villains are laughable: Rhino takes drugs to become physically strong because the actor felt looked down upon by Kraven's father, and he's such a naive character; but he's afraid of pain in his human form and the transformation takes time, so he needs protection. The injection marks are too obvious and leave exploitable weaknesses, so legendary... Mister Glasses too, during the informant scene, he has a gun, and the other party is defenseless, but he insists on taking off his glasses to count first.
