あらすじ
かつて空港大橋の真夜中の空を特徴づけていた不気味な静寂は、雷の不吉な轟音によって突然打ち砕かれる。空は不吉な濃い灰色に変わり、地平線には巨大な渦巻きのように厚い雲が渦巻いている。当初、橋の上の運転手や乗客は、待ち受ける差し迫った運命に気づいていないようだった。しかし、視界が悪化し始めると、警報が広がり始める。 車は減速し始め、ヘッドライトは豪雨の中で薄い光を放つだけだ。人々は席を探して右往左往し、状況の急速な悪化に混乱し、恐怖を感じている。しかし、手遅れだ。状況は限界に達した。突然の爆発が橋を揺るがし、車が互いに衝突し、大規模な玉突き事故を引き起こす。混乱があまりにも激しいため、人々は車から逃げざるを得なくなり、猛威を振るう嵐に車を委ねる。 この壊滅的な混乱の中で、はるかに不吉な何かが展開し始める。「エコー」として知られるイヌ実験体は、極秘の軍事実験「プロジェクト・サイレンス」の一部であり、拘束から解放される。この突然の解放は、恐怖政治の始まりを示し、エコーはトラウマを抱えた生存者に大胆さと凶暴さを発揮する。エコーは、非凡な直感を持って、混乱を最大限に利用し、橋の上のますます細分化された人間のグループに、新しい恐るべき敵から逃げる以外の選択肢を残さない。 かつて無邪気だったこれらの犬は、遺伝子構造が通常の犬よりも静かで強くなるように設計されており、プロジェクト・サイレンスを通じて究極のテストを受ける準備が整っている。しかし、生々しい、制御不能な力を求める彼らの探求の中で、これらのコマンドー訓練を受けた四本足の兵士は、自分たちの服従の深淵に閉じ込められているようで、今や苦労している生存者たちは、黙示録的な自然の脅威と、攻撃的で武装し、熟練したベヒーモスの渦の中に挟まれている。 生き残るための必死の試みの中で、橋からの散らばった個人は、プロジェクト・サイレンスの恐ろしいイヌ執行者を出し抜き、打ち負かすために極端な手段に訴える。人々が攻撃的で崇高に戦いを経た動物からの容赦ない猛攻撃の中で、急速にすべての理性を失うにつれて、恐ろしい論理で警報がすぐに鳴り響く-数時間前に平凡な夜を過ごし、退屈な世俗的な現実に対峙するほかに何もなかった人々は、今や戦いのために作られた生き物との容赦のない生存闘争の受け手である。 プロジェクト・サイレンスの全容とその影響を特定することは、彼らの中で最も冷静な人にとってさえ、ますます難しくなる。彼らの生存そのものが今や危機に瀕しており、彼らの努力の終わりのない連続によって常に危険にさらされている。その容赦ない恐怖の中で生存者を寄せ集めることは、彼らの恐ろしい運命に一緒に立ち向かうこと以外の明確な代替手段を残さない。彼らは明確な抵抗計画を立てることができずに、暗い同盟を強いられる。夜についての唯一の真実は-すべての希望が失われているように見える。 それでも、まだ誰も諦めていない-彼らはプロジェクト・サイレンスをはるかに親密に知っていた。今や明らかなことは、この激しい絶望が立ち直る力を生み出したということだ。また、怒りと無力感が、結局のところ自分たちと同じ通りで育った相手に立ち向かい、攻撃することを促している。容赦ない攻撃者から発せられる音のない逆上は、今日でも放棄された橋に響き渡る。

Many said the production aimed high, targeting the success of "Train to Busan," with a budget twice its size! It premiered in the non-competitive section at Cannes last year, resulting in a lukewarm reception. Today, I finally got to see it. I can only say it's utterly mediocre. You can sense the ambition to rival "Train to Busan," but it doesn't even reach the viewing experience of "Train to Busan 2." The sense of mystery vanishes within the first ten minutes, and the use of dogs as the antagonists feels utterly uninspired... Then it attempts atmosphere, ensemble cast dynamics, a father-daughter storyline, humorous moments, suspense, political intrigue, and more. It feels like the creators considered every element, but the execution is too conventional, let alone thinking about commercial appeal...

The rescue is too foolish, the disaster is handled perfunctorily, and it blatantly treats the audience as mentally challenged.

The high-octane live-streaming stuntman unleashes a biochemical crisis and the revenge of the Spec-Ops dogs. The pacing, details, and emotional descriptions in the later half create a noticeable disconnect, weakening the intended tension, excitement, and cohesiveness. Human emotions are incredibly complex, but the dogs are pure, embodying the true meaning of "ride or die." The forced human-dog comparison feels contrived and rigid. And it dares to compare itself to <Train to Busan>? Seriously?
Genesis
Lee Sun-kyun's posthumous performance as a lone hero is deeply moving. However, using rabid dogs as the central creatures for a special effects-driven thriller feels somewhat distasteful. Perhaps a more inherently malevolent monster could have been a better choice.
