あらすじ

As expected, this one is my favorite in the entire series. No mindless gunfights, no hideous hybrid male lead, and no Kate Beckinsale, who, despite her beauty, delivers a wooden performance as the tragically righteous Selene. Instead, we get the most stylish and elegant Viktor and the fiercely sexy Lucian, the progenitor of the Lycans. It features a medieval classicism, clashes within castles and forests, the liberation of slaves, and the tragedy of forbidden love. Plus, the director is a renowned special effects makeup artist, which enhances the visual experience.

Gossip: This trilogy managed to break up Michael Sheen (Aquarius) and Kate Beckinsale (Leo), but it brought KB together with director Len Wiseman (Pisces)! They got engaged in June 2003 and married before the second movie (in May 2004). That explains why MS wasn't in the second film, and KB wasn't in the third, with LW stepping back to become a producer.
