Army of Thieves

Army of Thieves begins in the year 1989, where we meet Ludwig Dieter, a bank teller. He lives in a small German town with his mother and a passion for mechanical puzzles and safecracking. However, Dieter isn't just ordinary – he has a particular skill for bypassing even the most complex security systems, which has led to him being dubbed the "German Devil" among the thieves' underground community. One night, in a quaint Berlin pub, Dieter meets a striking thief named Gwendolyn. Although she is not the mysterious figure from the movie's synopsis, she recruits Dieter to join a daring heist. Gwendolyn has been searching for the perfect safecracker to complete her mission, and she believes Dieter's exceptional skills would be the only thing missing from her team. Gwendolyn introduces Dieter to a cast of eccentric and intriguing characters, such as the mysterious and charismatic German aristocrat, Lieutenant Colonel Riedel; the enigmatic and deadly safecracker, Koerbeck; and the endearing and cunning thief, Danton.
