Bill & Ted Face the Music

In 2022, Los Angeles, Bill S. Preston, Esq. (Alex Winter), and Ted "Theodore" Logan (Keanu Reeves) are struggling to live up to their destiny as "The World's Greatest Heavy Metal Band". As the Wyld Stallyns duo, they have been preparing to release their long-overdue album, but so far, nothing has come to fruition. The friends are now middle-aged and dealing with the challenges of raising teenage daughters, Thea (Brigette Lundy-Paine) and Billie (Samara Weaving), while also trying to maintain their friendship and rockstar dreams. One day, a mysterious stranger appears before them, claiming to be from the future. The visitor, played by William S. Hart as "The Future Jeff," tells them that the universe is facing a catastrophic event that will occur 47 years from now, resulting in the destruction of reality itself. According to Jeff, only Bill and Ted's latest song, "The Riff," can save the universe from impending doom. Determined to fulfill their destiny and save the world, Bill and Ted embark on a new adventure. They visit a futuristic school where they are tasked with recruiting a new band. In the process, they befriend a new batch of historical figures, including Slink, a young John "Slink" Bacon, who is on a mission to save his future and his wife, Napoleon's horse, and Genghis Khan, who is determined to use his legendary warrior skills to conquer the music world. As they journey through time and space, they are aided by their daughters, who begin to appreciate their fathers' music and the values of friendship and perseverance that made them great. With the help of Chuck De Nomolos's nemesis, Captain One, they manage to create a new version of The Riff that is unlike anything the Wyld Stallyns duo has ever played. In the process, they also receive support from some of the biggest names in music. Metallica, Air Supply, and Def Leppard make appearances as themselves, and even Billie and Thea's musical talents begin to shine through. However, their progress is hindered by a rival from the rival band, The Circle Jerks, who try to steal their music. However, the most powerful support they receive is from their families and a new ally from the future, Rufus's future replacement. As Bill and Ted work together with the people around them, they are able to create the ultimate song, which will not only save the world but also prove that anything is possible when friendship and determination are combined. The song "The Riff" is revealed when the band performs at the end of the movie. As the universe begins to unravel, the duo's ultimate song becomes the key to saving reality itself. With the help of their friends, family, and a dash of cosmic magic, the Bill and Ted duo creates a song so powerful that it rewrites the fabric of time and space, restoring balance and harmony to the universe.
